I feel that I’m constantly on the threshold between the familiar and the unfamiliar, with a flickering sense of the supernatural…the uncanny.”

Ruth Livingston, an award-winning designer, has been creating unique eclectic interiors since 1980, and is the recipient of eight Design Excellence Awards.

Ruth Livingston Studio is located in Tiburon, California, and works with clients in the Bay Area and beyond. All interior designs and custom furniture pieces are designed to fit the client’s needs, while marrying a timeless aesthetic with influences and patterns found in nature.

Ruth often collaborates with local artists and artisans for materials and ideas.
